The towing bracket is designed for loads of up to 1,200 kg depending on the battery power. And when you don’t need it, it can be easily removed and conveniently stored in the luggage compartment.
The towing bracket offers a drawbar load of up to 75 kg and is therefore also ideally suited for transporting e-bikes.

Charge with confidence wherever you go. The ID. Polo offers a driving range of up to 454 km (depending on battery), making it ideal for both daily commutes and longer journeys.
Rapid DC charging of up to 105 kW can recharge the battery from 10% to 80% in as little as 24 minutes, while AC charging of up to 11 kW makes home charging simple and convenient.
The ID. Polo also supports bidirectional charging, allowing you to power compatible devices such as e-bikes, camping equipment and household appliances, while also integrating with compatible home energy systems for smarter energy management.

The ID. Polo is a fresh interpretation of the Polo’s iconic design – all-electric, modern and unmistakeable. Clean proportions and crisp lines give the vehicle a powerful presence that immediately seems familiar. Volkswagen’s Pure Positive design language represents clarity through reduction: clearly defined surfaces and balanced proportions lend the ID. Polo a calm, modern and confident appearance.
The optionally available IQ.LIGHT – LED matrix headlights including light strips at the front and rear as well as illuminated Volkswagen logos provide improved visibility and give the ID. Polo an expressive light signature.
A trim panel covering the entire front end supports the vehicle’s distinct style. Depending on equipment, the trim is in Katana Silver or Night Chrome to match design elements in the interior.
Optional alloy wheels in sizes up to 19 inches add an additional sporty touch.

The intuitive controls and innovative ID. Light system make driving even more comfortable and connected.

Connected Travel Assist
Available Connected Travel Assist helps make every journey easier by keeping you centred in your lane, maintaining a safe distance from the vehicle ahead and adapting your speed to bends, speed limits and traffic conditions. It can also assist with motorway lane changes, using connected online data for even smoother, more natural driving.
Adaptive Cruise Control ACC
The optional Adaptive Cruise Control ACC can help you maintain a previously set maximum speed and minimum distance to the vehicle in front.
Adaptive Cruise Control also enables predictive cruise control and cornering assistance so that your vehicle can react automatically to the road ahead and adjust the speed to the road traffic rules. For a more relaxed journey.
Side Assist lane change system with Rear Traffic Alert and exit warning system
The Side Assist lane change system helps you to identify potentially dangerous situations when changing lanes – a warning light in the exterior mirror shows you that a vehicle is in your blind spot or is approaching quickly from behind. When indicating, Side Assist automatically analyses the position and speed of the other vehicles – and warns you.
Rear Traffic Alert increases your safety when reversing: it can warn you of vehicles crossing your path. If you don’t react in time, the system can intervene automatically and reduce or even avoid a collision with emergency braking.
The exit warning system helps you avoid dangerous situations when leaving your vehicle: it can detect when a cyclist, car, or other road user approaches from behind and alerts you before you exit.
Eco Assistance
Eco Assistance can help you to save energy and increase your range.
At the same time, the function makes driving more comfortable by automatically adjusting the energy recovery level to the driving situation, taking into account vehicles ahead, speed limits, and the road layout.
In many situations, you can therefore control the speed of your ID. just using the accelerator pedal.
Eco Assistance can also assist with braking. If a vehicle ahead of you slows down, the function is able to brake your ID. to a stop.
