Life
More comfort for everyday: The T-Roc Life combines sophisticated equipment with additional extras and clever assist systems. Pneumatically adjustable lumbar support and a rear view camera system make every journey more pleasant. Adaptive Cruise Control, Front Assist with pedestrian and cyclist monitoring and Light Assist guarantee a relaxed journey – even in dark conditions. The 32.8 cm (12.9 inch) infotainment system impresses with intuitive operation and is already prepared for later navigation.
Style
More design meets more comfort: Enjoy high-quality extras with the T-Roc Style such as front seats with massage function and advanced 3-zone automatic A/C, which can also be operated from the passenger compartment. The Keyless Access system makes everyday life easier, while LED Plus headlights and illuminated logos front and rear ensure a striking signature light.
R-Line
The T-Roc R-Line impresses with dynamic design and an active driving experience. Sport comfort seats with integrated head restraints, heated multifunction sports steering wheel in leather with paddle levers and the striking R-Line styling at the front and rear set distinctive accents. The overall impression is rounded off by diamond-turned 18-inch alloy wheels, sports running gear and a lowered vehicle body for sporty performance and more dynamic handling.
Exterior
Confident down to the last detail.
The new T-Roc displays even more character: 12 cm longer than its predecessor, streamlined front section, distinctive bumpers and powerful lines. Its progressive, iconic silhouette is further accentuated by alloy wheels up to 20 inches in size.
LED-plus-headlights, a continuous light strip and illuminated Volkswagen logos front and rear characterise the striking signature light of the new T-Roc. Optional IQ.LIGHT LED matrix headlights and tail light cluster in 3D-inspired design ensure even better visibility and add stylish accents day and night.
The T-Roc also sets the standard when it comes to materials: The new T-Roc uses up to 40 kg of recycled materials.
Choose from three equipment lines – Life, Style and R-Line – and enhance your T-Roc with additional equipment packages to suit your personal style.
Interior
Stylishly sophisticated.
The interior of the new T-Roc combines modern design with outstanding functionality. Generous legroom in the second row of seats and an impressive loading space of up to 1,350 litres offer plenty of space for everyday life and leisure. The centre armrest with 5.5 litres of storage space provides additional comfort.
The central 32.7 cm (12.9 inch) touch display enables intuitive control of navigation, media and vehicle functions. Surfaces partially laminated with fabric, 30-colour background lighting, illuminated door trims, seats in ArtVelours in the colours Soul Black or Mistral Grey and the 3-zone Climatronic A/C system create a pleasant atmosphere.
The Style equipment line offers a high level of seating comfort on long journeys, too, with ergoActive seat on the driver’s side with partially electric 14-way adjustment and massage function. The massage function can also be used in the passenger seat. In addition long and bulky items can be stored comfortably thanks to the front passenger seats fold-down backrest.

Tilting and sliding panoramic sunroof
The optional tilting and sliding panoramic sunroof covers almost the entire roof and also offers passengers in the rear a virtually unrestricted view of the sky. The tinted glass keeps temperatures pleasant when the sun is out.
A little extra fresh air? The front half of the roof can be opened or extended fully over the rear part.

Driving experience control
Driving experience control allows you to change your T-Roc’s driving mode with ease – from comfort to sport and back. However, you can also customise the settings and adapt them entirely to your needs.
Multiple settings can also be adapted at the same time with the Atmospheres function: from background lighting to music playback through to custom presentation of the Digital Cockpit Pro.

Keyless Access
Just leave the car key in your pocket: Thanks to Keyless Access, your T-Roc unlocks and locks the doors automatically as soon as you approach or move away from the vehicle – all without touching the door handles. You can even use the infotainment system to choose which doors to lock or unlock. The engine can be started at the press of a button, again with no need for a key.
The Easy Open/Close function allows the luggage compartment to be opened and closed by moving your foot slightly underneath the rear bumper – particularly useful when both hands are full.
Driver assist systems for the new T-Roc at a glance
The following driver assist systems are available among others for the T-Roc:
- Travel Assist 2.0 including Emergency Assist
- Adaptive Cruise Control ACC
- Side Assist lane change system
Travel Assist including Emergency Assist
Travel Assist actively helps you to stay in lane. In addition, it helps you to maintain a previously set maximum speed and minimum distance to the vehicle in front.
Travel Assist can actively support you when changing lanes on the motorway. To do this, your Volkswagen must be equipped with Park Assist and the Side Assist lane change system.
You also benefit from predictive cruise control and cornering assistance, meaning your vehicle can react to upcoming bends and roundabouts and adapt its speed to the current traffic rules. For a more relaxed drive.
If, during a journey, you are unable to steer the vehicle due to an impairment or emergency situation, the Emergency Assist system can recognise this situation. The system will first attempt to re-establish its connection to you. If this is not successful, it will take control of the vehicle and bring it to a standstill to prevent potential accidents or reduce their severity. If you are driving on a motorway, Emergency Assist can use automatic lane change to steer your vehicle onto the hard shoulder and bring it to a halt there.
Side Assist
The optional/standard Side Assist lane change system helps you to identify potentially dangerous situations when changing lanes: a warning light in the exterior mirror shows you that a vehicle is in your blind spot or is approaching quickly from behind. When indicating, Side Assist automatically analyses the position and speed of the other vehicles, and warns you.
Rear Traffic Alert increases your safety when reversing – it can warn you about vehicles that cross your path. If you don’t react in time, the system can intervene automatically and reduce or even avoid a collision with emergency braking.
The exit warning system helps you to avoid dangerous situations when exiting your vehicle – it can detect when a cyclist, car or other road user is approaching from behind and warn you before you step out.
Assist systems for enhanced safety for the new T-Roc at a glance
The following assist systems for enhanced safety are available for the different models of the new T-Roc:
- Proactive occupant protection system
- Front Assist emergency braking system with pedestrian and cyclist monitoring
- Lane Assist lane change system
- Car2X

Front Assist emergency braking system
The Front Assist emergency braking system with pedestrian and cyclist monitoring can warn you of potential accidents involving other road users and, if necessary, automatically apply the emergency brakes for you.
Front Assist can lend its support in evasive and turn-off situations as well and prevent an impending accident.
Front Cross Traffic Assist helps you when approaching unclear exits or junctions that are difficult to see – also with visual and acoustic warning signals or emergency braking if necessary.

Lane Assist lane keeping system
From 65 km/h, Lane Assist can recognise if your vehicle leaves its lane unintentionally. With corrective steering intervention, it focuses your attention back on the driving situation and keeps your vehicle in its lane.
If you nevertheless go over the lane boundary, it will also warn you with a vibration in the steering wheel.

Car2X
The optionally available traffic hazard alert can warn you, for example, of construction sites or approaching emergency vehicles.
In addition, vehicles equipped with the traffic hazard alert system can also communicate with each other and thus draw attention to themselves in the event of a breakdown or accident. The communication uses Car2X technology via Wi-Fi.
