The first Porsche club was founded 70 years ago on 26th May 1952. Today, there are more than 700 Porsche Clubs worldwide with more than 240,000 members in 86 countries. This venerable global ecosystem of marque-specific clubs is unparalleled in the automotive industry in both its form and its size. A variety of activities and celebrations are planned throughout the year to mark the 70th anniversary of Porsche Clubs around the World.

This makes the clubs attractive to young and old. We are delighted to be able to celebrate this special anniversary.”

To mark the anniversary in 2022, Porsche is planning a worldwide campaign with a variety of communications and events under the banner of ‘Enduring Passion’. 

Porsche Club Ireland met up at Porsche Centre Dublin on Friday 3 June 2022, before heading off to Westport for the June Bank Holiday Weekend (3 - 6 June 2022). Porsche Club Ireland was formed 25 years ago and so not only are they celebrating the Worldwide Porsche Clubs 70th Anniversary, but also their own 25th Anniversary! Made up of over 400 Members, owners and enthusiasts, we were delighted to welcome a selection of our Porsche Club members before they headed off for their anniversary adventure!
