Motorrad Test Ride Event | 24 – 29 August 2026
Experience the latest BMW Motorrad range at the Joe Duffy Motorrad Test Ride Event, taking place from 24 to 29 August 2026 at BMW Motorrad Joe Duffy, Charlestown.
Whether you're considering your next bike or simply want to experience the thrill of riding some of BMW Motorrad's latest models, this is the perfect opportunity to get in the saddle.
Event Sessions:
To give every rider plenty of time on the road, test rides will be split into two daily sessions, with riders being asked to arrive 45 minutes prior to their test ride time in order to regsiter, sign insurance paperwork and complete a demo / familiarise themselves with the controls on the bike they are test riding.
Make sure to bring your license on the day!
Morning Session | 10:00am – 12:00pm
- BMW C 400 GT | 1 year license minimum
- BMW F 450 GS (Automatic) | 1 year license minimum
- BMW F 450 GS (Manual) | 1 year license minimum
- BMW F 900 GS (Low Chassis) | 1 year license minimum
- BMW R 1300 GS Adventure ASA | 2 year license minimum
Afternoon Session | 2:00pm – 4:00pm
- BMW M 1000 XR | 2 year license minimum
- BMW R 12 GS | 2 year license minimum
- BMW R 1300 R SE | 2 year license minimum
- BMW R 1300 GS | 2 year license minimum
- BMW S 1000 RR M Sport-| 2 year license minimum
Each test ride lasts for up to two hours, giving you plenty of time to experience your chosen motorcycle on the road. Our BMW Motorrad specialists will be available throughout the event to answer your questions, offer expert advice and help you find the perfect bike for your riding style. Complimentary refreshments onsite.
