What Will You Be Doing?

 

 

You will analyse customer needs, interests and specific preferences, using your extensive knowledge and professional instincts to identify the appropriate model and recommend to customers the optional features that you think will truly benefit their lifestyle. This means you’ll need to think on your feet and know every update and innovation inside out. You will need vision.

 

As the customer’s initial contact, you’ll initiate their investment in the Porsche story and their favourite model before introducing them to your Sales Consultant colleagues. You’ll seamlessly forward them on to the welcome journey of Porsche ownership. Beyond the showroom, you’ll be a constant provider of support, proactively sharing your expertise with others, taking ownership over training and even sharing your knowledge with team members that you interact with across the business.

 

Working in our showroom, you’ll create experiences that go beyond sales and give visitors to our Porsche Centre an experience to remember. You’ll introduce them to the exciting world of Porsche, sharing unique brand and product insights, creating real moments of intrigue, curiosity and fascination, and making them feel a part of the Porsche story. In doing so, you’ll inspire visitors, filling them with enthusiasm to get behind the wheel without obligation, and, ultimately, transforming them into Porsche owners – and loyal clients.

 

You won’t be selling. Instead, as a genuine part of the Porsche family, you’ll use your encyclopedic knowledge of the brand, honest advice and natural conversational charm to ensure every visitor feels as if they’re comfortably chatting about a car you’re both passionate about. By being authentic, you’ll give them the information they need to make the right decision on the perfect car. In short, you will have the power to inspire complete customer satisfaction, and the innate ambition and enthusiasm to consistently deliver unique experiences, rather than meet targets.

The Main Areas of Learning Will Be:

 

 

  • Follow the Joe Duffy Group sales process rigidly in pursuit of vehicle sales
  • To follow instruction and take guidance from Sales Manager
  • Manage and develop customer follow-up and prospecting systems designed to create additional Porsche sales opportunities for repeat and new business
  • Effectively support the customer through the entire sales process; from enquiry to delivery and beyond.
  • Build rapport and lasting relationships with Porsche customers to ensure repeat business.
  • Maintain and accurately record all customer contact/details using in house computer systems
  • Complete accurate appraisals of all vehicles presented in part-exchange, agreeing values with the Sales Manager.
  • Actively achieve targets on a daily basis.
  • Attend training on a regular basis to maintain product knowledge and increase skills
  • Achieve the standards required and become a Sales Executive
     

 

Person Specification:

 

 

  • Exceptionally well-presented and groomed with high levels of attention to detail
  • A passion for consistently delivering exceptional customer experience
  • Previous experience of presenting products to customers highly advantageous
  • Experience of working in a sales capacity or a customer service environment, demonstrating a commitment to providing our customers with an exceptional level of service.
  • Possess a strong desire to succeed in a career selling motor vehicles
  • Can clearly demonstrate a strong work ethic with excellent organisation & negotiation skills
  • Warm and friendly personality portraying a professional and corporate image to all our customers (both face to face and over the phone)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A disciplined approach to following a rigid process from start to finish.
  • For insurance reasons a full and clean Driving Licence is a pre-requisite.

It is essential that applicants have a Full and Clean Driving Licence. 

 


Ideally you will be able to demonstrate strong customer service, telesales, retail sales or customer contact experience. You do not need to have motor experience, but have a desire and understanding of the motor trade. This position may also suit a graduate looking to pursue a career in Motor Sales.
