Get the most out of every journey with the new Gen6 eDrive technology. In the BMW i3 50 xDrive Saloon, two electric motors power the vehicle with up to 345 kW (469 hp)¹. The completely new generation of high-voltage batteries with 800-volt technology enables ultra-fast DC charging of up to 400 kW¹, ⁴ when connected to a compatible high-power DC charging infrastructure. This allows you to recharge enough energy in just 10 minutes to cover a distance of up to 400 km¹, ⁵. Bidirectional charging can also be used as an energy storage system or mobile power source – offering complete flexibility at home or on the road.
