Volvo at Joe Duffy are delighted to announce their sponsorship of the annual International Optimist Dinghy Association of Ireland (IODAI) Ulster Championships hosted this year by Malahide Yacht club. The event will take place on the 19th and 20th May, 2018 at Broadmeadows, Malahide Yacht Club.
With 140 boat entries expected, this year’s competition is set to be another action packed event.
Since 1973, the Volvo Ocean Race has provided the ultimate test of a team across the world. The Volvo Ocean Race embodies the very same principles that Volvo Cars set out for themselves as an automotive maker—advanced design, safety, innovation, strength, endurance, and care for the environment. Inspired by the sense of community, strength and endurance embodied by Malahide Yacht Club, Volvo at Joe Duffy are delighted to sponsor this year’s Ulster Championship Event hosted by Malahide Yacht Club.
Although registration closes on the 9th of May, we are looking forward to welcoming all participants, spectators, friends and family on the 19th and 20th of May 2018 for what we promises to be an exciting and momentous event.
