Your safety is our utmost priority

We are delighted to announce that our three Joe Duffy Volkswagen locations are open for sales, service and parts from the 18th May 2020. If your Volkswagen is in need of a service or it's time to change your car, we have introduced new hygiene initiatives and remote consultations across our three locations. We’re here to help in a way that works for you, all as part of our Volkswagen Safer Measures.

Hygiene & Social Distancing Measures

Some of the safer measures in relation to hygiene and social distancing at our locations include:

  • Showroom customers will be greeted and signs describing the safety measures will be in place
  • Hand sanitisation options available in showrooms and customer toilets
  • Contactless payment is available
  • Counters and workplaces are disinfected regularly
  • Thorough hand washing is practiced by all staff
  • Distance measures have been put in place in the seating areas
  • Distance and hygiene measures have been implemented in the service bays, parts area and workshops
  • Hygiene measures are observed during handover and a distanced handover take.

Contactless Service

We are open for service and maintenance work as usual, with the following safer measures in place:

  • You can book a service online using our online service booking tool or over the phone
  • Technicians practise thorough hygiene measures and workshop tools are disinfected between use
  • We clean and sanitise the interior and exterior of your vehicle before handing it back to you
  • Our retailers use video consultations, digital communication and telephone throughout the service process to facilitate ongoing communication remotely where possible

Car Sanitisation

  • All vehicles are thoroughly cleaned inside and out before being worked on or being handed back over to consumers to ensure disinfection
  • We use an advanced sanitising system that aerates a disinfectant throughout the car utilising the car's air vents. As well as killing 99.9% of bacteria, this deep-clean system has the added benefit of removing bad odours, pollens, and moulds
  • All staff practice hand hygiene measures and wear suitable clothing to prevent transfer of a the virus within the car.

Remote Sales

To facilitate distancing and reduce physical contact, remote processes are in place. You choose how to deal with us, we have a number of digital platforms that you can interact with us through:
