Traditionally viewed as a male dominated Industry, times have changed as more females enter the sector and are employed in a variety of roles (EU average currently 15%). Today, at the Joe Duffy Group, over 20% of our team are female and based across the Group in various roles including Technicians, Aftersales, Finance, Marketing, HR & Sales. We are proud to be a progressive company and celebrate the enormous contribution and substantial impact that women continue to have on our business.

Apprentice | Joe Duffy Ford
Sarah's career commenced in May 2018, almost three years later, Sarah is now in Phase 4. Having a brother in the trade, Sarah has always grown up around cars. When asked what she likes about the role as an Apprentice, she said she loves figuring things out.
Apprentice | Joe Duffy Athlone
Growing up with a passion for cars, Kathryn has inherited plenty of experience with machinery from her family farm. Encouraged to join the Motor Industry by her dad, she is currently waiting to be called into Phase 2 since joining the Group in 2020.
Aftersales Divisional Manager | Volkswagen
Fiona has demonstrated exceptional leadership working as an Aftersales Manager since 2012, Fiona went from managing a team of 15 to now managing three busy aftersales departments. The newest home for Volkswagen North Dublin at Exit 5, M50; Volkswagen Swords and Volkswagen Navan combining 36 service bays fully equipped with the latest technology and a team of 48 employees.

Lauren started as a Trainee Business Manager in 2018. Throughout her three years within the Joe Duffy Group, Lauren has shown great determination having completed exams in loans, regulations, life assurance and investments. Lauren plans on sitting her final QFA exam in May. Keep up the passion Lauren, you’re a fantastic team player!

Claire joined us in 2017 with over 19 years human resource and management experience at local and international level, across a broad range of business sectors-professional services, retail and manufacturing.As Group HR Manager, Claire and her team are responsible for the entire HR function across the group.

Katie began her career in Audi North Dublin in 2017 as a Trainee Business Manager. Having completed her QFA exams, Katie is a top performer in her role, now responsible for financial transactions in Joe Duffy Volkswagen (Swords).
Awarded Employee Of The Year for Joe Duffy Volkswagen (Swords) during our virtual "Best People" awards 2020. Described as a very positive and upbeat team player.

Vehicle Administrator Controller | VolkswagenTracy joined the Volkswagen team in 2013 as a Corporate Host and Administrator for Joe Duffy Volkswagen (Swords). In 2019 Tracy was promoted to Vehicle Administrator Controller, responsible for three high volume Volkswagen locations, Porsche and Joe Duffy Ford. Tracy has a team of three reporting into her and has demonstrated outstanding ambition with tremendous organisational skills.
Sales Executive | Joe Duffy Athlone
A trained nurse, Chloe finished her studies and decided to follow her passion for Irish Dancing. After touring Europe with her dancing, Chloe returned home and decided to pursue a career in sales.
Chloe was also awarded Employee Of The Year for Joe Duffy Athlone during our virtual "Best People" awards 2020.
ZuGuide | ZuCar CorkWelcoming all guests into our first ZuCar business in Cork back in 2019 was Corporate Host, Becka. When a ZuGuide, sales role came up in early 2020, apprehensive at first because of her limited product knowledge, Becka was encouraged by her parents to apply for the position. She hasn't looked back since! Almost a full year in the position Becka loves her new role, finding it really interesting and learning something new every day. As her product knowledge grows, so does her confidence.
Business Manager | Volvo & Kia
Saoirse joined Volvo and Kia as a Trainee Business manager in 2018. Eager to learn, she is now fully QFA qualified and completed her CIP qualification this year, Saoirse is currently perusing an MBA in Project Management. If that wasn't enough, she was also awarded Employee Of The Year for Joe Duffy Volvo & Kia during our "Best People" awards in 2019. It's no wonder Saoise says no two days are the same in her role.

Having completed a level 8 Honors Degree in Finance & Accountancy, Sinead decided to venture into a Trainee Business Manager position after her studies. Three years later, she has scheduled to sit her final QFA exam in May. A real people person, Sinead loves interacting with customers and colleagues on a daily basis.
Sales Executive | BMW
Carrie originally moved from Donegal to Dublin to study Clinical Science in DIT. In 2019 she decided to move into retail, having always had a keen interest in cars the motor trade made perfect sense. Carrie started as a Junior Sales Executive in BMW 2 years ago and moved up through the ranks. Currently the only female sales executive on the team and going strong.
