The Joe Duffy Group is privileged to announce Temple Street Children's Hospital as their newest charity supporter. We are a young company with young employers many of whom have started families and are parents to small children. Children are, therefore, close to all our hearts and at the start of the year when we were trying to decide which organisation to support we were treated to a tour of Temple Street. There we found a natural fit for our company. This past July, 82 of our dedicated staff ran the Annual Clontarf Half Marathon in aid of Temple Street, sky rocketing past our target of €20,000 with three months to spare.
The staff at Joe Duffy Motor Group have been pulled toegther even more than usual in our attempts to raise much needed funds to support the work of the Irish Heart Foundation. The Joe Duffy Motor Group recently lost a dear friend and colleague Gerry Ryan who's presence, positivity and joy for life is missed every single day. In honor of Gerry and the enormous positive impact that he had on all of our lives and our company, the Joe Duffy Motor Group family together with members of Gerry's family collectively raised in excess of €12,700 for the Irish Heart Fondation.
St. Michael’s House, one of Ireland’s largest providers of community based services for children and adults with an intellectual disability, has announced the winner of its annual car prize as part of its monthly club draw. Catherine Cleary, from Palmerstown, Co. Dublin was the lucky recipient of her brand new 142 Ford Fiesta Model courtesy of Ford Ireland. The Annual Car Draw is organised in partnership with Finglas Ford, which provides a brand new car every year as the overall club draw prize.
After several months of training a number of the Joe Duffy Group sucessfully ran the Dublin City Marathon. Pieta House - The Centre for the Prevention of Self-Harm or Suicide charity is a very worthy cause and we were more than delighted to support them in helping to raise funds for the awareness of this charity
