After an absolutely jam packed year of events, promotions and exciting model launches, let's take a look at the year to come and the new models coming across all the Joe Duffy Group brands.

BMW

BMW is gearing up for an eventful 2024, and while electric vehicles may not take centre stage as they have done in recent years, they will certainly play a significant role in 2024. True to its recent approach, the BMW Group is set to unveil a mix of battery-powered models alongside its conventional lineup. Next year will see the introduction of a number of brand-new vehicles, including the X2 and iX2 the fully electric 5 Series Touring the i5 Touring, as well as the latest iteration of the M5. Additionally, BMW has plans for a makeover of the M4 family, a refreshed i4, 1 Series, and M3. BMW Enthusiasts can also look forward to a sneak peek of the upcoming 100% electric Neue Klasse, offering a glimpse before its full-fledged debut in 2025.

A fully electric Range Rover is due to join the Land Rover family in 2024, spearheading their drive towards an electric future, with the goal of only producing electric vehicles by 2026.

These models are poised to make a significant impact in Ireland, expanding Porsche's electric lineup to three models alongside the existing Porsche Taycan, which is due for an exhilarating facelift. BMW Motorrad

BMW Motorrad has an exciting year ahead with some highly anticipated models having been announced to arrive in Ireland early 2024, such as the F800 GS, F900 GS and F900 GS Adventure all scheduled to arrive in the first quarter of next year.  Additional information released earlier in the year by the BMW Motorrad Group announced updates to model  colours, packages and models updates set to come in the year ahead, such as the new R 18 Roctane, the introduction of The R12 and R12 nineT, which are set to replace the outgoing R nine and R nine T models and a prototype for the BMW M 1000 XR. Launch events will be held for a number of these highly anticipated new models in Joe Duffy Motorrad so keep an eye on their social media channels and watch this space for updates!

Audi

Although a few new Audi models have been rumoured for 2024 the only concrete model we know is coming this year is the Q6 e-tron - The Audi Q6 e-tron symbolises how the four rings have evolved into a pioneer in electric vehicle technology. The Q6 e-tron opens the way for Audi's all-electric future with its innovative design, new electronics architecture, platform, charging, and battery technologies. Rumoured to be introduced include the Q5, A5 Saloon, e-tron GT, A3 Saloon, and the A6 e-tron Avant, among other models, facelifts, and variants.

Volvo

The phrases "premium SUV" and "good value" are rarely associated with each other, but Volvo hopes to change that with the 2024 release of the EX30. It will be the Swedish company's first custom electric vehicle, and success is predicted.

It will also be the smallest Volvo vehicle that is offered, but it will still have plenty of quality, technology, and a 480 km range. On the opposite end of the spectrum, Volvo plans to launch its flagship EX90 SUV by the end of 2024.

Mazda

The MX-30 R-EV is a range-extender plug-in hybrid, using a small rotary petrol engine as a generator which charges a drive battery and provides power to its electric motor.

It is available in three trim levels and comes with a good level of comfort and safety equipment. The powertrain on the MX-30 R-EV combines an 830cc rotary petrol engine and 17.8kW battery in a range-extender system.

The MX-30 R-EV has a 50-litre petrol tank and unlike traditional PHEVs, it can be plugged into a DC rapid charger which reduces the time required to charge it
