As part of our fund raising for Temple Street we are sending our Master Technician Paul Forrester to ride Route 66 joining a team of bikers fundraising across the states.
Aidan Sheehan from Rider Coach was on site giving our riders some pratical knowledge on how to be the best of the best when it comes to riding. As well as a presentation from Angi McNulty- Temple Street's Events Manager who has completed Route 66 7 times!!! It was a very informative night enjoyed by all and raising over €350 for Temple Street, thanks to the genouristy of all those who attended who we really cannot thank enough.
Through a mix of video and photography, Angie talked about her experience of the Route 66 Challenge. Discussing the highs, the lows and everything in-between on this iconic 14-day journey from Illinois through Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, New Mexico,Arizona, Nevada and finally California.
The first of our seminars took place last night (Tuesday 23rd Feb) at our Motorrad Showroom, North Road,Dublin. We had a great turn out and thank you to all our loyal customers, friends and family who turned out to make the first of many seminars in aid of Temple Street a success.
The attendees were treated to an informative talk from the Bike Buyers Guide regulars, First Bike on Scene. The FBoS crew have been making the world a safer place for motorcyclists for the last number of years and have so far trained 450 bikers in Ireland of what to do and more importantly what not to do if they come across an accident.
This was just the first of 6 seminars to come over the next number of months, each seminar will have a new topic and promises to be a fulfliing evening every time, giving bikers and car drivers expert information as well as raising money for Temple Street.
If you would like further information on any of our upcoming seminars keep an eye out on our website JoeDuffy.ie as well as our social media pages on Facebook and Twitter.
The next seminar will be held in March and as before we ask for a €10 donation- every cent of which will go straight to Temple Street Hospital and all their little patients
