JOE DUFFY MOTOR GROUP LINES OUT FOR CHILDLINE

On Sunday 6th March the Joe Duffy Motor Group 7-a-side team turned out to support the ISPCC Childline fundraising effort at UCD. 

In a bid to raise much needed funds to support the tireless efforts of Childline and its volunteers, our team entered the 7-a-side tournament held at UCD. Team members Javier Florex in Midfield and Goalkeeper Anthony Cummins put in some outstanding displays and drew the comments from the crowd.

After finishing 3rd and suffering an agonising defeat on penalties in the semi-final, the donations are still flooding in from staff and family members at the Joe Duffy Motor Group. With the company agreeing to match all monies raised, we are hoping to raise a significant contribution to support this most worthy of causes.

The Group also hosted a Bring and Buy Cake Sale on Pancake Tuesday which was enthusiastically supported by the entire company and raised even more funds for Childline.

The Group would like to thank everyone who supported this worthy cause and we look forward to helping out again in any way that we can.
