The Joe Duffy Group announced today that it is set to continue its growth strategy with a €20m capital investment planned over the next three years. This large capital investment plan begins in July with the development of two development projects at Airside Business Park in Swords and building works commenced on a flagship Jaguar Land Rover facility, together with a new state of the art Volvo and Kia Dealership. These businesses currently trade as HB Dennis and when the work is completed in November our Land Rover, Jaguar, and Volvo business will be rebranded as Joe Duffy. The Group also plans in the future to extend the umbrella of the Joe Duffy brand name to include its three Volkswagen and Ford Businesses.
Joe Duffy Group is Ireland's leading Motor retail group and currently has 14 dealerships in Dublin, Meath and Limerick representing 15 brands. Employee numbers, which are now at 410, have grown by over 50% over the past 3 years also. The Group, now in its eighth consecutive years of turnover, employee numbers, and profit growth, will be reporting a turnover of €239 million last year and is projecting close to €300 million for this year.
Announcing the investment and ambitious expansion plans, Group CEO, Gavin Hydes said, "This investment strategy is another essential step in our growth plans for our business. We look forward to these new state-of-the-art dealerships and upgrades contributing to our continued success. It is great to be creating further jobs in the industry. We are very proud to represent so many exceptional brands. Fundamental to our ambition and drive is our people. I am exceptionally proud to work with such a driven and committed team, and I believe it is our people who make a difference."
