We are currently seeking to recruit Business Managers to join our Sales Teams. This is a demanding role and will require a candidate with excellent communication skills, strong numerical ability and an eye for detail. The successful candidate will have completed the minimum competency requirements of undertaking a Foundation Certificate in Consumer Credit or is qualified to QFA Diploma standard. Reports to: Sales Manager

Department: Sales

Requirements of the role:
To maximise the dealer's profitability through the sale of specific franchise Financial Services Finance and Insurance products to customers who are purchasing a vehicle from the dealership. To complete the sales process in a manner that is consistent with the highest degree of integrity towards our customers and in line with manufacturer requirements.

The successful candidate will meet the qualifying criteria and have the:

Highest standards of personal presentation and grooming
Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
Hold a relevant qualification as outlined
Hold a full clean driving license
Have previous experience in the role of Business Manager at an automotive dealership or financial services experience

Detailed Responsibilities:

(i) Sales
To be responsible for sales of specific franchise Financial Services finance and insurance products to all car purchasers and meet mutually agreed targets.
(ii) Prospecting
Assist the dealership in effectively prospecting for new business.

(iii) Administration
(a) Accurately complete all relevant documentation within the required legal standards and those of the specific franchise Financial Services
(b) Complete accurate records of car sales and F & I performance, including receipt of all payments due.
(c) Administer all customer settlement enquiries
(d) Ensure relationships with other sources of finance are established to handle business, in the event that cases are not accepted by the specific franchise finance provider.

(iv) Product Knowledge
Maintain an up to date knowledge of all relevant finance and insurance products including competitor analysis and protect the dealership from financial and legal exposure.

(v) Budgets
Assist in and provide information for the preparation of departmental budgets.

(vii) Customer Service
Ensure that every customer receives excellent customer service and that standards of the specific franchise manufacturer are reflected and maintained

(vii) Technology
Fully utilise all available manufacturer specific and Financial Services technology within the dealership’s sales process.
