An exciting and rare opportunity exists for a highly professional and experienced Centre Principle, a proven track record in motor retail sales is a prerequisite and an understanding of aftersales. Irelands only Porsche Centre Dublin, is looking for an experienced motor trade professional to manage our Porsche Centre, this is an exciting time for this brand and in 2018 we will be relocating the Business to a new Flagship Facility in North Dublin.

You will be customer-focused, with a strong commercial awareness, and genuine passion for the motor industry. You will demonstrate strong leadership communication, influential and organizational skills. You must have current experience of dealership systems and procedures, working practices at senior management level, and be able to interpret accounts. You will ensure that all processes, procedures and financial guidelines are adhered to and maintained.

Naturally we will expect the successful candidate to have very strong sales and aftersales management skills, we will also be interested in your attitude, work ethic, communication and interaction skills. These need to include an obsession with quality, a strong desire to exceed customers’ expectations and the innate desire to embrace and enhance the values of the Porsche Brand.

Objectives

Successfully manage all aspects of the sales and aftersales operations of the dealership to achieve agreed customer satisfaction, loyalty and profitability targets. A hands-on approach is very much our culture in business and you will be expected to lead by example. Target driven, you will thrive within an entrepreneurial environment and demonstrate success by increasing our sales volumes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As well as being responsible for all areas of the business as well as the responsibility for the overall dealership you will assume the role of Head of Sales and tasked with growing our vehicle sales volumes whilst delivering the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage all aspects of the Sales Department’s performance to maximise customer service and ensure that the Porsche brand values are articulated in all aspects of a customer’s experience.
  • • Maintain standards of performance of the Sales and Aftersales teams through effective coaching, training and performance management. You will be committed to maintaining a culture of customer service excellence and delight. You will develop an environment of exceptional performance through regular communication, team building and effective coaching. Employee reviews should be core to your people strategy: from monitoring, measuring and directing current performances; to developing future aspirations.

  • Communicate and maintain customer service standards and measurements in line with the requirements of the Group and the Brand.
  • You will lead a significant Aftersales team in this exciting and dynamic organization overseeing the Service, Parts and Workshop teams ensuring maximum profitability and commercial opportunities.
  • Ensuring the dealership adheres to Porsche and Group standards at all times
  • Working with Group HR, recruit and select the Sales and Aftersales team members in line with Porsche and Group requirements.
  • To manage the mix and specification of new products based on sales trends, local market intelligence and the allocation and production constraints.
  • In conjunction with the Sales team and Group, oversee the supply of new and used vehicles.
  • • Maintain high customer satisfaction levels through the understanding and adherence to customer satisfaction indicators within brand and group

  • Implement and develop customer follow up systems and procedures to increase customer loyalty and to ensure superior customer service standards in line with the Porsche brand.
  • Maximise commercial opportunities through developing and implementing effective and consistent Sales and Aftersales events and campaigns.
  • Monitors and evaluates customer needs and competitor activity in the local market, ensuring that campaigns are relevant and targeted.
  • Liaise with other departments to maintain the accuracy of the customer database.
  • Regularly communicates and interacts with members of other departments to develop the business and the dealership team ethos.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy working environment, ensuring staff comply with Health and Safety requirements.
  • Liaise with Group Marketing to drive programs and initiatives to promote the Porsche brand
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
