We have an experienced, unique and dynamic Management Team with individual track records of success and experience at Senior Management Level within the Motor Industry both in the UK and Ireland. Below are the key members of our team:
Gavin joined the Joe Duffy Group and was appointed to the board in June 2005, as Group Chief Executive. Gavin held various senior management roles in the hotel & motor industry and enjoyed considerable success in the UK Dealer Network. Following on from Gavin’s appointment, Joe Duffy Motor Group has undergone a period of continued expansion, diversification and restructuring under his leadership. With 14 dealerships, representing 15 Brands, the Group is now Ireland’s largest retail motor Group, with 400 employees.
James joined the group in 2002 and was appointed company secretary in 2006. He was formally with BDO Stoy Hayworth as senior audit supervisor, where he gained extensive experience in the fields of audit, taxation and corporate finance. James has overall responsibility for financial control, corporate compliance and all group financial functions.
Dermot joined the company in 1982. Over the years Dermot has held various managerial positions across the company in both sales and aftersales. He has full operational and strategic responsibility for all our existing and future facilities together with the IT infrastructure across the Group's retail dealerships.
Group Marketing Manager
Alan joined the Group in 2010. As an affiliate member of the ACCA with a background in finance, marketing consultancy and after launching his own succesful start-up advertising agency, he will continue to lead the company to become the leader in Digital Marketing Strategies in the Motor Industry. As Group Marketing Manager, Alan is responsible for all franchise brands within the Group.
Group Human Resources
Maria joined us in 2014 and has over nine years senior retail HR experience gained during her time with Marks & Spencer’s as a Senior Commercial Manager.. Maria is responsible for the Group HR Strategy for the Group..
Executive Assistant/Group Communications Manager
Mary joined us in 2014 from the financial services/health sector where she held various senor roles, including Head of Group Marketing & Communications and Strategic Planning. Mary reports directly to the Group Chief Executive as his Executive Assistant as well as being the Group's Communications Manager.
Group Fleet Manager
Steve Rayner joined the Group in 2012 as part of the Group's ongoing growth strategy and is responsible for developing the Group's Fleet and Corporate Business sector. Steve brings a wealth of knowledge in Corporate Sales to the Group and is now head of our Joe Duffy Fleet Solutions business.
